Transperth Trails

The Transperth Trails is the easy, simple way to attend many sporting fixtures, concerts and other events.

See Perth from a new perspective. Getting there is half the fun as you follow one of our Transperth Trails. Sit back, enjoy the view by bus or train and let us do the driving as you explore the Perth Hills.

Catch a bus into Kalamunda in Perth's hills. Stop by the Zig Zag Cultural Centre where you can pick up a map of the Town Heritage Trail. On this leisurely 20 to 30-minute self-guided walk you'll discover the fascinating history and delights of the wonderful hilltop town. There are lots of places to stop for a meal, including the historic family-friendly Kalamunda Hotel. Don't forget to ask about their resident ghost while you're there.

Take the Midland Line from the city to historic Guildford, one of WA's oldest towns. Drop-in at the Visitor Centre to pick up a map for one of the self-guided Walk Trails and head off to discover historical buildings, colourful characters and more. Drop into antique shops while you're there and pick up a nick-nack or two along the way. If you have time, take your pick of the seriously good dining options and settle in for lunch.
