Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need to print out my ticket before I travel?
- You can present either a printed or electronic (emailed) ticket to the coach or train staff at the time of departure.
- Holders of concession tickets also need to present their concession card (physical or Digital Wallet) to confirm their entitlement.
What are the luggage allowances included in my ticket?
- Hand Luggage: 1 (one) piece of hand luggage weighing no more than 7kgs.
- Checked Luggage: 1 (one) piece of checked luggage weighing no more than 20kgs.

Are there long-term parking facilities at your stops and stations?
- There are no long-term parking facilities at our stops and stations. For more information, call us on 1300 662 205.
Are there toilets on the coaches and trains?
- There are toilets and baby changing facilities on all Transwa coaches and trains.
- Contracted coaches facilitating the Bunbury to Collie and Albany to Hopetoun services do not have toilet facilities.
Can I bring food and drinks onboard?
- You are welcome to bring non-perishable food and drinks onboard Transwa train and coach services. However, perishable goods and alcohol are not permitted.
- A full menu of snack foods, refreshments, tea, coffee, and alcohol are available for purchase on the Prospector train service.
- BYO alcohol is not permitted on any Transwa service.
- Long-distance road coach services make short refreshment stops where a limited range of food and drinks may be available for purchase. Refer to the timetable for refreshment stops on your booked journey.
