Dubbed WA's 2nd capital city, the coastal city of Bunbury is located 175 km south of Perth and has a population of over 75,000. Established in 1836 it became the main port for the South West Region.
The Bunbury Passenger Terminal, where Transwa coaches and trains alight, is located on Picton Road, Wollaston in East Bunbury. This terminal opened in 1985, replacing the previous train station circa 1894.
