Transwa is excited to annouce that on 1 April 2017 online bookings became available to WA Pensioners who have a Pensioner SmartRider and to WA Health Care cardholders who have a Concession SmartRider. If you hold one of these cards, or a Student, Senior or Veteran SmartRider, all you need is your SmartRider number and your date of birth at the time of booking online. Then at the time of boarding, have your valid concession card and your relevant SmartRider with you so that we can validate your ticket.
Western Australian Pensioners with free trip vouchers or concession cardholders not in possession of a SmartRider need to book over the phone or in person.
SmartRiders can be topped up at the East Perth and Bunbury Booking Centres.
To apply for a Pensioner or Concession SmartRider or for more information, contact Transperth.
At Transwa we offer discounted travel for all ages. If you would like to purchase a ticket using your valid concession ensure you have your card on you when you book, and while on board. If required, you may be asked to show another form of ID.
To find out if you're eligible for a concession provided by the Western Australian Government visit their Concessions website.
